SUMMER SLIM DOWN
Lose 7% of your body weight in 8 weeks April 4th – May 31st. Weigh in at the YMCA April 4th from 5 am – 7 pm or April 5th from 5 am – 7 pm. Self-check your weight weekly. You may choose to email your updated weight every Friday to see how you rank (your weight will never be posted, rankings will be based on % lost). Weekly top participant will receive $5 in program bucks each week! Send your weight update e-mail to Chelsey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Complete your final weigh-in at the YMCA May 30th from 5am -7pm or May 31st from 5am – 7pm. Everyone who loses 7% or more will win CASH! Bring a friend! The more participants, the greater the possibility of bringing home more money!
Members $20; Non-members $30
*Final weigh in must be completed by 7:00 pm on May 31st to be considered a winner.
MILITARY GAUNTLET - YMCA vs. Clarion Military

Sgt. Caleb and a team from the Clarion Military Recruitment office have thrown down a gauntlet! They will be here from 3:30pm – 7:30pm March 27th and March 28th. They will have a number of stations set up around the YMCA and will have challenges and goals for us to meet! Challenges will be split into age categories. Come and have a try for FREE! Set a newpersonal best, take on the staff or take on the military!
--Bleep Run: GYM – Any Age
--Deadlift: GYM corridor – 12/13/14 with adult 15+ unsupervised
--Chin Ups: GYM – Any Age
--4 lengths in uniform: - POOL – Any age (at aquatic staff discretion).
--Aqua Dash: POOL – Any age 1 length – Who is the fastest of them all?
LIVE WELL at the Y
Learn to nourish your body, love yourself and enjoy the sweet treats of life.This class with Emily Campbell will teach you basic nutrition concepts and how to make educated food choices.Gaincontrol over your food choices and stop overthinking every food decision along the way.Learn how to select the right foods that will make you feel full.
This 45 minute class will be held in April on Thursday evenings. Class times will be announced soon.
SILVER GAME DAYS
Silver Game Days are social events for seniors held every Tuesday at the Y. Bring a deck of cards or your favorite board game, plus a snack to share and enjoy the afternoon with friends. Registration is not required for this program. Just show up and join the fun. There is plenty of space so BRING A FRIEND! Game day is held from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesdays.
Open Gym can be utilized by members. Equipment and basketballs are available for use! Come and shoot some hoops, play Pickleball or start a game of soccer – it’s open for you!

Come and play America’s fastest growing sport! Pickleball is a paddle sport accessible for all ages and skills. The rules are simple and easy to pick up and play for beginners and can quickly progress into a fast paced and competitive game for more experienced players.

HEALTHY FRIENDS REHABILITATION
The YMCA Healthy Friends program is a supervised fitness program available for clients who have sustained an injury, illness or cardiac event and need supervised care. This program benefits those who have completed a supervised therapy program and are looking to transition into a gym setting to stay strong and active. Healthy Friends meets two days per week for 1.25 hours per day. Please register at the YMCA or call 814-764-3400.

PERSONAL PROGRAM DESIGN
Have a custom program designed around your goals and fitness level.Our Certified Personal Trainers will assess yourabilities and design an appropriate program to meet your goals.Each program is designed for 4-6 weeks. The program upgrade is used in the progression of your wellness journey.Cost is per 4-6 week program:Initial Design: $75Upgrades: $25 each.*Personal training sessions purchased separately.
FREE SMART START PROGRAM
Smart Start is a program that provides you with the tools and knowledge you need to reach your fitness goals. The program is customized to your needs and will help you set attainable goals to provide the ongoing support necessary for your success. In three short meetings, we can take you from an exercise skeptic to a confident individual who is excited about working out. In just a few sessions, you will gain the tools and resources to help you succeed.This service is available to for members ages 13 and up within 30 days of joining the YMCA.
