Spice up your life when you enter our soup cookoff contest! Submit your soup on January 31 by 10 am a the YMCA. Soup will be taste tested and judged by our members throughout the day. The winning soup chef will win an apron and medal, plus $10 in Y program bucks! Pick-up official rules at the YMCA member service desk.
Silver Game Days are social events for seniors held every Tuesday at the Y. Bring a deck of cards or your favorite board game, plus a snack to share and enjoy the afternoon with friends. Registration is not required for this program. Just show up and join the fun. There is plenty of space so BRING A FRIEND! Game day is held from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesdays.
This group meets once a month at the County Seat Restaurant in downtown Clarion at 8 am. Join us the last Friday of every month! Call the YMCA to let us know you will attend. The YMCA makes the reservations.
Visit unique local restaurants, try new food and make new friends. Our lunch bunch group meets on the second Friday of the month at noon. Call the Y to find out which restaurant the group has picked and join us for good food and good friends. Please call the YMCA and we’ll make the reservations.
Join our pot-luck luncheons for a fun and educational meal! Lunch will begin at 11:30 am followed by a short talk on a healthy topic On Friday, January 12 we'll focus on healthy eating. Bring a healthy main dish to share and learn about healthy eating tips for the new year. Bring a copy of your healthy recipe to share (optional). On Friday, February 9, we'll talk about healthy treats! Bring a covered main dish to share and learn about way to snack healthy. We'll share a special snack with our participants.
Member wellness challenges are a great way to stick to your routine while staying motivated.
BUDDY CHALLENGE - January 2 - February 1
Grab your BFF and head to the YMCA. Complete your workout with a buddy to be entered to win cool Y gear. Complete our "Buddy" challenges for an extra chance to win. Each time you work out with your buddy or complete a challenge, you both can enter to win. Two winners will be randomly drawn on February 1. There is no cost to participate, but you must work out with at least one buddy to receive an entry into the drawing
LAZY MAN TRIATHLON - February 12 to March 24
There's nothing lazy about it. Complete 26.2 miles of running or walking, 12.5 miles of rowing, and bike or eliptical 112 miles in 6 weeks. Everyone who completes the challenge receives a t-shirt. Sign up by February 12. Adults pay $15 each or $12 each when signing up with a friend.
Pickleball combines elements of tennis, table tennis, badminton and racquetball. The game is played indoors and utilizes a paddle and
wiffleball. Learn in our skills clinics or attend to play in games!

Tang So Do is for participants age 7 through adult. This traditional martial art form has roots in ancient Korea and promotes self improvement, self discipline and self defense. Mr. Jeff Craig is the certified instructor. This is a great family opportunity for parents and their children to attend together. There is a special family rate of three or more family members paying the price of two.
